A couple of weeks ago my family and I went to Southport in Queensland for the National and International Access Class dinghy sailing competition at Southport Yacht Club, we had a great time and we came 8^th out of 15 people which was pretty good considering the wind (about 20 knots) which was just about tipping us out of the boat.

 

 

We had 3 days of almost nonstop racing, so by the end we were completely exhausted but it was definitely worth it. They also had a three course dinner and disco on the second night which was a lot of fun.

 

 

All in all I had a great time and am definitely looking forward to going again next year.
